Look at each moving shape and write down the first thing you see. If your answer is “cat,” the test is operating within expected parameters. If your answer is “an internet-controlled bubble machine,” you may have been on this website too long.
So it turns out, if you adopt a couple of tuxedo cats, they make cool “Cat Blot Tests”. Like Rorschach (inkblot) tests, cat blot tests invite the viewer to interpret the images they see. However, unlike Rorschach tests, you can be sure the image is some sort of cat picture.
Take the “Cat Blot Test.” Click on each thumbnail below and see if you can find the cat in the image before it is revealed. (Give each image at least four or five seconds for the transformation to start.)
